Michael Payson, Partner
Michael joined TRG in 2023 to help lead the firm's Florida initiatives. His focus is managing all aspects of the development process including site identification, planning, entitlements, design, permitting and construction. Prior to joining TRG, Michael worked at Royal Palm Companies (RPC), a Miami based real estate development company where he was primarily responsible for leading the firm's acquisitions, capital markets and asset management functions.

At RPC, Michael transacted on projects accounting for over $1 Billion in total capitalization across various property types including mid-rise multi-family projects, vertically integrated mixed-use high rises, luxury condominiums and hospitality master planned communities throughout Florida and the Caribbean. Michael began his career as an Analyst at Moody's in New York City performing credit analyses on a range of sectors including Public Finance & Infrastructure, Healthcare and Higher Education. Michael received a bachelor's in finance at Elon University in North Carolina.
He currently resides in Fort Myers, FL.
